Level 1 provides you with the core skills you need to begin your career as a project manager. No matter how large or small the project, the tools and processes you will learn in Level 1 will help you keep your work organized.

Level 2 is designed for people with several years of experience managing projects who want to improve their skills. It builds on the foundation of Level 1, adding more sophisticated tools and processes for defining, planning, and analyzing your project.

Both courses are valuable stepping stones for becoming a certified Project Management Professional. 

Who should attend?

The workshops are not specific to any single government agency or function and are open to anyone managing projects in the Qatar Public Service.

Level 1 is designed for people who are new to project management and have not had previous experience or formal project management training.

Level 2 is designed for people with several years of project management experience who want to improve their skills. Completion of Level 1 is recommended.

International standards

The QNPM workshops cover the complete project lifecycle and are aligned with best practices from around the world. They draw on the Project Management Institute’s Body of Knowledge, established methodologies in other countries, and the experience of local and international experts. Each topic covered is reinforced with examples and exercises.

The workshops are focused on helping the project managers of today and tomorrow succeed throughout the lifecycle of their projects.

The details…

§         Each workshop will last 5 days, from Sunday to Thursday

§         Each day, the workshop will run from 8am to 1pm, with breaks for tea and prayer

§         Classes will be kept small – no more than 15 people per session – to ensure each participant gets the attention they need

§         The workshops were developed in Qatar in accordance with international project management standards and customized to meet the specific needs of the Qatar public service
